A Silhouette match requires shooting 1/2 scale steel targets representing game animals at varying distances. All matches will follow NRA rules and regulations for Lever Action Silhouette. The targets are metallic silhouettes of rams, turkeys, pigs, and chickens as shown below.

TCSA's Smallbore competitions are held on the Silhouette Range.
For official NRA scoring, Smallbore matches are open to anyone that has a lever, pump, or semi-auto .22 caliber Rimfire rifle with a tubular magazine and open sights (no scopes). You can also just shoot for FUN using any .22 calibar rimfire rifle with open sights or scope.
Pistol Cartridge rifles are any lever action rifle with open sights and a tublar magazine using a rimmed pistol cartridge loaded with a round or flat nosed lead bullet. i.e. 25-20, 32-20, 38's, 357 Magnum, 38-40, 44's, 44-40, 45 Colt, 45 Long Colt, .22 Magnum and .22 long rifle.

Wednesday match dates: May 15th, June 5th, & 26th, July 17th, August 14th. Match starts at 6:00 pm
2024 Pistol Cartridge & Smallbore Lever Action Silhouette
Saturday match dates: April 20th, May 4th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 7th, & October 5th
Setup and practice from 9:00 am to 9:30 am
Smallbore Match starts at 9:30 am. There will be two 40 round matches and then we will set up and run two 40 round Pistol Cartridge matches
Wednesday Matches are $5.00 for the evening (under 18 shoots for free)
Saturday Matches are $10.00 for the day (under 18 shoots for free)
