cmpThe Civilian Marksm anship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U.S. citizens in the responsible uses of ?firearms through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. These competitions test the shooters marksmanship skill with Garand, Springfield and Vintage Military Rifles or Rimfire Sporter rifles. TCSA offers 2 such competitions per year; the Spring CMP Day and the Fall CMP Day. More comprehensive information on the Civilian Marksmanship Program can be found at

All shooters have the responsibility to demonstrate the ability to handle, operate, and fire their weapon in a safe manner. Any shooter judged unable to conduct themselves in a safe manner will be removed from the firing line at the discretion of the range officer calling the line. No refund will be given for a dismissal under these circumstances.

TCSA uses the Silhouette (middle) Range for the CMP Days.
