Hunter Ed

Hunter Education is required for all hunting licenses, including bowhunting. This course covers firearms safety, hunting techniques and responsible, ethical hunting practices. TCSA acts only as the host for these classes and is not responsible for registering participants.

The Tioga County Sportsmen's Association (TCSA) hosted six basic firearm Hunter Education classes during 2016. The classes are conducted by a group of volunteer instructors at the Tioga Sportsmen's Club facilities on Carmichael Hill Road in Owego, NY.

NOTE All courses require the completion of homework prior to attending the course. Participants must also pass a written test at the completion of the course.
